If you are in need of furniture or small household items don't forget to make a trip to Hess Furniture Store at 139 N Liberty Street, in Harrisonburg, VA.
You never know what you will find here. The store is FULL of all sorts of things - Don't miss the upstairs.
Everything you can imagine - sofas, chairs, tables, night stands, hutches, bed frames, lamps, kitchen items, pots, pans, old records, and so much more.
I try to stop in every week or two as items come and go all the time. The owner is very pleasant and if you don't see what you are looking for - make sure to ask.
I wake up each day in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and I love to save money. I enjoy the challenge of feeding my family for under $50.00 per week and purchasing brand name foods and products while doing it. Shopping in Harrisonburg VA and the surrounding communities is fun and there are lots of great bargains to be found. I love shopping at Martin's Grocery, Food Lion, Kroger and CVS.

Have your ever ridden the Mega Bus - if not try it - it's Cheap transportation between Major City Destinations
The next time you want to get away for a fun day and don't want to drive - try the Mega Bus Service. This is a wonderful, very affordable way to travel between major Metro Areas. Routes run from major cities like Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC and even cities in the Mid West.
I just looked at booking a trip from Boston to Hartford for $6.00 - You certainly can't make the trip in your own vehicle for that amount of money.
Here is the link to their Web Site - http://us.megabus.com/Default.aspx
What a great way to visit relatives, go to a sporting event or just a day away.
